Garden Birds

Garden birds are often the first wildlife I get to photograph, and they’ve helped me learn a lot about timing and patience. Even the most familiar species behave differently depending on the light, weather and what’s happening around them. I like watching their small movements and natural reactions, especially when they feel relaxed in their surroundings. This collection shows the birds I see close to home and how I capture their everyday behaviour.
