Seeing feathers in a new way

I started photographing feathers because I wanted to look closer at the textures and patterns you don’t always notice with the naked eye. Using macro photography helped me experiment with light, detail and depth of field, especially when adding water droplets to show how the surface reacts. This collection shows how I explore colour, structure and tiny details in feathers from different birds.
