Wetland Birds

Watching wetland birds in their natural habitats

Wetland birds are some of my favourite species to photograph because there’s always something happening around the water. From ducks and waders to swans and herons, each bird behaves differently depending on the light, weather and water levels. I like watching how they feed, interact and move through the water, especially when the reflections change with the time of day. This collection shows the birds I’ve found around lakes, rivers and ponds and how I try to capture their behaviour and the calm atmosphere of wetland habitats.
